No! The best part about beatboxing is that anyone can learn in just a few minutes. We have had students from all musical and non-musical backgrounds who have greatly benefitted and enjoyed our programs. Fun, teamwork, and stepping out of your comfort zone are what we focus on in our workshops. We are confident everyone who leaves our class will be able to beatbox along to their favorite songs. The art of beatboxing can significantly benefit anyone. We have students as young as three years old and as old as eighty years old. Our programs are entirely customizable to fit your needs.
If you take our online course, all you will need is a computer and a quiet place to follow along. There is no other equipment required.
If you are requesting In-Person workshops and assemblies, the Academy of Noise will provide the equipment necessary in most cases.
If any equipment is required, our team will provide rental options.
Our team at the Academy of Noise values the health of your students and community, and we are dedicated to making sure that your students can make noise in the healthiest and safest way possible. We offer a variety of socially distanced and remote assemblies and workshops, depending on what works best for your population. If requested, our team can provide specialized PPE for Students and Staff to provide extra safety measures, while allowing for more freedom and expression. If in-person meetings are not an option, we offer engaging and interactive virtual sessions for students online as well.
We have virtual assembly and workshop programs that we can still offer to your community. We host these programs through a secure Zoom Room. Students will leave with the ability to beatbox or write original music.
